Newington 12, Manchester 1: Olivia Burgos had four hits at the plate and held Manchester to six in the circle as the Indians moved into the second round and a date with No. 2 Darien today in the Class LL tournament. Alyssa Bellizzi had five hits for the Indians, while Katrina Peck and Dana Gionfriddo had two each.
